6-13-2025 Fishing Report
Summer pattern is here and down rod bite is full bore. Water temps are in the low 80’s. The 30 to 50 foot depth range has been best for me on Murray. At Murray the fish have been eating till about 11:00. On Hartwell and Clarks Hill it starts really early and is done many days by 9:00. “Five and Done” started June 1 on Murray, so 5 of any size can be kept.
Crappie are on their typical May/June pattern, stacked on deeper off shore brush in 15 to 25 feet of water for the most part. Jigs and minnows are both producing really well.
June is one of my favorite months to fish. It’s a month where you want to be on the water very early and the bite is done by 11:00 at the latest, but it’s red hot during the prime time. Give me a call and let’s get out there.
